The Women in Finance Technology (WiFT) Leadership Awards 2022 first year launch in Manila vowed many of us from so many perspectives.  A dream which took life from our realising how many of our customer sponsors were women leaders who are making a significant difference, became a reality at a truly unimagined scale. The applicants came from varied backgrounds; each of their pursuits showcased how much grit, self-confidence, and tireless work, went in to produce substantial results.  

As a small firm, even with the significant movement around the world for recognition of women leaders, we felt this innate need to initiate our own women leadership platform.  As CEO, I really just wanted BPM Vision to be part of providing more visibility to the fantastic work that women leaders are delivering despite all odds.  Women deserve to be acknowledged much more as the torch bearers of change, tenacity, perseverance and no-nonsense leadership.  Our partners in Micro Focus, FINEX Philippines and The Manila Times shared in this dream and supported us through every stage to make this a phenomenal success.

BPM Vision’s involvement as a key initiator of the Women in Finance Technology award platform demonstrated how progressive women leaders tackle the more challenging finance and technology domains delivering value to both their internal organisation as well as the broader community.  This was a perfect gateway to bring them to the forefront of core leadership for a safe and progressive future for mankind.  We look forward to WiFT Asia Pacific in 2023 with involvement of a much wider audience.
